Basil pesto is easily one of my favourite recipes. Basil pesto is so versatile, easy, and compliments pretty much any savoury dish. I like to eat basil pesto with pasta, rice, pizza, potatoes, salad (and Doritos, but let’s pretend I didn’t say that).
I’ve heard some people manage to make basil pesto in a blender, but that has never worked for me. I use a small food processor. The most time consuming part is washing the basil and separating the leaves (don’t use the stems), but other than that it is a very quick process.
